Welsh Coastal Holiday Cottage | Mariners Cottage

3 bedroom holiday cottage on the Pembrokeshire coast | Sleeps 6

Mariners is a 3 bedroom Welsh holiday cottage and barn conversion, originally the brewhouse and cattle shed of a local Public house, on the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales. In days past Pilgrims travelling to St Davids would stop here for refreshment. Now the cottage has been fully and sensitively refurbished, retaining its original charm and rustic flavour. We have added basics like hot and cold running water and heating in the bedrooms, as well as a few home comforts like a cosy log burner and a washing machine. The accommodation may not be the height of luxury, but it is comfortable with plenty of character.

Antique Welsh furniture adds a bit of style and we've retained the original Mariners sign as a historical feature.

Mariners is the perfect holiday let for walkers and ramblers, birdwatchers, wildlife enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the simpler pleasures of life and is happy to live without a television and enjoy the natural world instead. It's located bang on the Pembrokeshire coastal path in Parrog, which is the old port area of the small town of Newport.
